We ask ourselves: "Who am I? Why don't I feel fulfilled? Why do I make the same mistakes over and over again? How can I become my best self? How can I improve my relationships? How can I develop compassion?"
The Enneagram is a powerful psychological and spiritual system describing nine basic personality types. In this offering, we'll traverse the "road map" of the Enneagram to discover more about ourselves and the others in our lives.
Our way of perceiving the world forms the basis of our personality. This perception developed to protect our childhood vulnerability, but may actually get in our way as adults. The Enneagram helps us decide whether or not to repeat old patterns or to take new paths and develop our inborn gifts.
Knowledge of the Enneagram also has the power to transform our relationships. Ever asked yourself "Why is s/he doing that?" We'll get a chance to answer that question by momentarily experiencing what it feels like to look out from another's eyes; to know them "as they are to themselves". Understanding others brings deep compassion and respect for our differences.
Lynette uses a unique blend of video, discussion, and experiential exercises to bring us closer to knowledge of ourselves. Although the Enneagram is a very deep, rich system, you'll leave with practical information you can use right away to begin experiencing more joy in relationships and more meaning in life.
